Online trainings are provided by The Latino Family Literacy Project, a White House BRIGHT SPOT Award-winner for Educational Excellence with Hispanics. School staff will be trained to use a culturally relevant and research-based framework for parent and family engagement. Staff will provide a six to ten week parent engagement program for Spanish speaking parents at their school. The program supports family reading, vocabulary development and ESL skills.
It is recommended that 2 staff per school attend the training. These webinars are easy to access and effective. Attendees will be prepared to provide the step-by-step curriculum for the program level of their choice. Simply select program level and purchase. You can register for the webinar for a date within 1 calendar year. It’s that easy!
